Her active license remains in Maryland only. Ms. Myers left general litigation practice in 1996 and established her own law firm. Ms. Myers is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She also belongs to the Maryland State Bar Association Section of Estate and Trust Attorneys, and the St. Mary's County Bar Association.
Continuing education is very important to Ms. Myers. She completes annual courses through the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers (MICPEL) and through the Edward Jones Professional Education Network. She has also taught continuing education classes for local accountants.
