Kimberly Talbert Myers is an Elder Law Attorney practicing in Southern Maryland. She is the President of the first law firm in Southern Maryland devoted to the rapidly growing fields of Elder Law and Estate Trust Planning. Ms. Myers provides custom Estate Planning tailored to meet the needs of individuals of all ages. She takes pride in the way her firm offers personalized service and attention to each client.

Ms. Myers provides sound advice for protection of assets, reduction of estate taxes, planning in advance of disability, alternatives to court involvement, and estate administrations. Together with her professionally trained staff, Ms. Myers works hard to ensure improved quality of life for seniors and their families. She accomplishes this by providing planning in advance of disability, thereby enabling seniors to retain control over their lives.

St. Mary's College of Maryland is Ms. Myers' alma mater. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Political Science in 1988. She earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Campbell University in North Carolina in 1992. In 1993, Ms. Myers was admitted to both the Pennsylvania Bar and the Maryland Bar. Her active license remains in Maryland only. Ms. Myers left general litigation practice in 1996 and established her own law firm. The Law Office of Kimberly Talbert Myers, P.A. is now dedicated to Elder Law, Estate Planning, Wills, Probate, Revocable Living Trusts, Special Needs Trusts and related services.

Ms. Myers is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She also belongs to the Maryland State Bar Association Section of Estate and Trust Attorneys, and the St. Mary's County Bar Association.

Continuing education is very important to Ms. Myers. She completes annual courses through the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers (MICPEL) and through the Edward Jones Professional Education Network. She has also taught continuing education classes for local accountants.

Community service is a priority at the Law Office of Kimberly Talbert Myers, P.A. Ms. Myers is a supporter of the Christmas in April Program, the Alzheimer's Association, and Hospice of St. Mary's County.

In her "free" time, Ms. Myers enjoys jet skiing and boating on the Patuxent River, and spending time with her family. Her favorite quote is, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
